Hi guys,
I'm a noob, but I get my first plugin with custom GUI with the blue cat script plugin. When I export, the VST3, it dont work > cubase and reaper tell me this is not working.

I check, and apparently I need a Steinberg VST licence ?
I get to this page : https://steinbergmedia.github.io/vst3_d ... -3-license (https://steinbergmedia.github.io/vst3_dev_portal/pages/VST+3+Licensing/What+are+the+licensing+options.html#proprietary-steinberg-vst-3-license)

I fund a pdf to fill and to send to steinberg, but I dont understand the hell I'm doing ?
How do I get this licence ? Do I have to do something else to make my plugin work ?
Please help :( Thx you guys !

Do you need a license for VST3 distribution? I thought you didn't - only VST2 needs to be licensed.

SDK FAQ info on the page you link to is pretty clear I would have thought.
For more details please read the "Proprietary Steinberg VST 3" license agreement. If you accept it, please enter all required information, sign it and send it back to us, either via land mail (to the Steinberg address mentioned in the license), or via e-mail to reception@steinberg.de or via fax (+49 (0)40 210 35-300). We will countersign the license agreement and send it back to you.

Yes you need to sign the Steinberg agreement to distribute VST 2 or 3.

Unless its all GPL, but I guess the Blue Cat license you need as well could prevent it…

Even if you were to write a plug-in under GPL I think you still have to sign the agreement. Anyway the source code of Plug'n Script not being GPL'ed, I don't think it would make sense anyway.
