The changes seem evolutionary rather than revolutionary, but I like they’ve added a few effects, shimmer, wide unison etc plus having a global effects off button.

MS-20 filter and PWM for the wavetable engine are huge. Filters and Retrigger on the Unison sound like interesting features, as well.

It certainly seems like NI is doing something to incentivize developers to release Kontakt 7 Player instruments. Must be that they are free or dirt cheap to license.

That's what they did with Sonokinetic's Xmas freebies---free licenses.

I've just seen at sweetwater the avenger pick 5 bundle for 168$ . It's great price (one expansion for ~33$) ,
however I was thinking is there any possibility to achieve further discount , for example with coupon codes or anything ...

sweetwater had it every year for 140usd, so it is not that great deal at all.

Last Black Friday it was 50% off = $150. And last Christmas too. I don't believe I've ever seen it as low as $140, but I have seen it a couple of times at $150.
It was on my BF list but didn't pull the trigger.

Yep, felt the same and got a freebie. When both, compelling libraries and an accesible Kontak upgrade actually happen, will move into K7. No relevant new features that stick to mind.
