That would be really great / appeciated! Its the first thing I noticed missing, thinking this would be a nice addition.Jakob / Cableguys wrote: Fri Dec 16, 2022 9:35 amYes, that is definitely missing, and something we hope to add at some point.StarSMASH wrote: Sun Dec 04, 2022 8:16 pm wait so we can't save presets for just one module? like i want to save a wave preset just for the filter, but i can't do that?

Can shaperbox capture an envelope from an audio input into a curve shape that can be saved? Like if you use a drum rhythm that you think is cool for a preset that you want to share, you don’t have to share the audio file itself, but you want to share the shake from the resultant envelope in a preset to give to others?

Nice idea. But no, that cannot be done (would be rather complex to code I assume, to avoid it resulting in lots of breakpoints.. but still an interesting idea!).masterhiggins wrote: Fri Dec 16, 2022 4:43 pm Can shaperbox capture an envelope from an audio input into a curve shape that can be saved? What you could do of course, is to draw a curve that reflects the background oscilloscope.

My colleague Joe has just uploaded a video that shows the new drum noises in action.
He shows how to make reactive drum machine rhythms, dynamic hi-hat layers, groove shadows, clap/snare bodies, and more:

Some of the goodies FL Studio users got since ages...Jakob / Cableguys wrote: Fri Dec 16, 2022 4:59 pmNice idea. Every envelope in FL Studio is able to analyze audio files and replicate it´s shape... quite cool...

Very nice update with 3.2. Here are some things id like to see added in the future.
-when using it as a midi effect it would be nice to have polyphonic control (Kilohearts Snap Heap is the best i have seen for this).
-when using the random function for the LFO shape, you have the ability to maintain the type of shape that is currently in place (similar to what Infiltrator does). So if i have a square type LFO drawn, i can tell the randomize function to maintain the square profile.
-the ability to save shapes / presets for individual modules.
-the ability to search presets based on individual (or multiple) modules. Surprised this one is not an option.
-the ability to lock the master mix. IMO this should of been there from day one.
Overall though, great update and its really nice seeing the support and quick updates that is going into this. Great job Cableguys.

And: have you read through the thread where Cableguys talk about each update?

this should obviously be stated very clear to the customer on the website/ in the user area and not in some forum thread on another website.vitocorleone123 wrote: Mon Dec 19, 2022 9:06 pmWhich update?robindrieghe wrote: Mon Dec 19, 2022 9:02 pm i see i can update drive and or timeshaper, but what will the update add?

DCrown - Plugin Boutique is just a reseller, and what they sold you was a license to Shaperbox 2. You can register that serial number at Cableguys' website and that will allow you to buy the upgrade to Shaperbox 3 directly from Cableguys. This is in no way "cheating" Plugin Boutique; this is completely standard, and it works that way from all resellers. The fact that Plugin Boutique also allows you to download the Shaperbox 2 installer directly from them is the unusual thing, in fact. If you bought Shaperbox 2 from, say, ADSR, the only thing you'd get is the serial number, which you would then register at Cableguys' website and download the installer from there.DCrown wrote: Sat Nov 19, 2022 10:07 am I am a loyal pluginboutique customer for many years and I checked my account and my license comes from pluginboutique and is stored/registered there and usually download installers from pluginboutique, I am not going to cheat pluginboutique and you also get lots of bonus when you buy there (free plugin and tokens = money per purchase). I see, pluginboutique doesn't offer upgrade, this is very strange and in future I will better ask pluginboutique whether they will also offer upgrades before I buy
Never was faced with upgrade issues like this ever as far as I remember
The fact that Plugin Boutique doesn't offer the upgrade to Shaperbox 3 themselves is due to Cableguys themselves. Not all plugin makers allow resellers to sell upgrades, and it appears Cableguys is such a plugin maker. (Slightly weird since they DID have some upgrades to Shaperbox 2 on Plugin Boutique in the past, but hey, things change.) If you haven't run into that kind of situation in the past, you've just been lucky. It, again, is a perfectly normal (and slightly frustrating) thing. Every company works a little differently, and every company has different relationships with different resellers.
IMHO it is always best to get the serial number and register it with the original plugin maker. That's the best way to be sure that you get access to updates and upgrades. There are one or two plugin makers that don't allow this, and depend on Plugin Boutique to keep their customers up-to-date - W.A. Production comes to mind, although I'm not sure if they've changed that recently. But I personally refuse to purchase products that I can't register with the original maker.

Both DriveShaper and TimeShaper benefit from the ShaperBox 3 improvements: Added audio triggering (think about only distorting transients, or only the tail of a sound, about audio-triggered half-time or stutters etc..), better wave editing, overhauled preset library, improved UI. TimeShaper also got a new position visualizer, and Drive Shapers got one more Drive mode (moved over from CrushShaper).
If you upgrade to the full ShaperBox, then you get all additional Shapers.
I hope this answers the question?

I would love to see an easy way to import our own audio files for noise shaper + user defined looping points. Also, a better browser for noises since a user could essentially import hundreds of files.

Are these not on the product pages, the bits with "New!" highlighted at the beginning?
