The only problems with it in my experience are 1) the copy protection, which included basic server malfunction at inMusic, & more than once; and 2) in VE Pro right after their change to iLok performing as poorly as anything I’ve ever seen. I started using it in Cubase 11, on a second gen M1 under Rosetta and it was fine. It’s not objectively buggy software.

My usage was like 3 dozen parameters of host automation and a fair bit of processing internally, with 14-18 outputs to host. I got stuff done.

Is there a list somewhere of the types of drum kits that were sampled? I see it has 7 “new” kits, but not the total amount and what type.

EDIT: I found the manual on their site and it has the details for each of the 7 kits.

I was considering Jamstix myself, but despite the main page indicating it's available for macOS, when you try to download it, you get a dialog box warning you that there is only a beta for macOS, and it's only available for existing customers. Checking in the forums for info on that, I learned that the developer has been out of communication since late 2021 (the date of the last beta update for the Windows version). Users on the forum have expressed concern about the developer.

For example, see the last few posts in this thread: https://rayzoon2.com/forum/viewtopic.ph ... &start=195

So Jamstix appears to be another virtual drummer that is abandoned.
