I have turned DECAY to zero (0) in Zebrify’s Envelope Detector panel and thrown a GATE on everything that looked like I should but still it drones on… what am I overlooking here?

if I use an OSC in an Effects chain Zebrify patch how do I get it to stop?

Can you say what you're using as the trigger? Audio input (and have an env follower turn volume up/down) or MIDI signal (MIDI note starts envelope)?

Hi Viktor Thanks… I thought I followed up to clarify this morning — by Effects Chain patch
I mean I am placing Zebrify after an instrument or audio source like a Reverb, in this case I used Poldolski and ZEBRIFY is using the Envelope and Pitch Detectives to follow. If I turn down the DECAY and RELEASE and RELEASE and DECAY down to zero it is no relief
if i put an OSC in any of those lanes in ANY Zebrify patch its like the VCA gets a green light to stay open 24/7 — it swells up again
Here's 2 presets I thought I finally managed to make one that releases the osc but it was only because i didn't hit a note in a specific range (you will find it lol)
the Pitch and Envelope DETECTORs want to grab a note and never let go
I confess even after all this time I never tried to use Zebrify with MIDI triggers as illustrated in the manual. I have never solved this OSC mystery, either … Zebrify is a great big planet
palette of effects and can obviously do plenty without the OSCs but I would like to get an understanding of this to use it to full potential

Hi Pete,
the solution is simple. Turn down oscillator volume to silence (in the osc module) and modulate that volume with the Envelope Follower so that it only opens when the env follower does its thing.
Cheers!
