Yeah, NI is the shadow of its former self now, pretty much dead in my book. Arturia surely climbed the ladder up there in the past few years and bumped some older devs at the top of the hill that took it for granted.

I feel the same. I haven't upgraded my Komplete Ultimate since version 10. Every time since then the whole package upgrade deal just hasn't really interested me. I enjoy Reaktor and Massive X. And I'm kind've tied to Kontakt because of a large collection of sample libraries/instruments. But I've been opening Kontakt less and less over the last couple of years, and haven't yet bothered to upgrade that to version 7. Arturia are far more interesting to me currently. I'm quite deep into their ecosystem now, and they keep impressing me. Long may it continue.

Is there a switch between rev 1 and 2? Couldn't find one. Unless it's the Clean/Dirty button? Which oddly seems like the Clean is dirtier to me. Not sure what it's doing.

Oh thanks. That sounds much better! Didn't notice that at first. However with the self oscillation you also need an amp/volume envelope after the filter effect if playing by midi. Easy to do with Bitwig modulation thankfully.

They had Trash 2 for Christmas 2021, they had Raum in 2019, and before that, they had the likes of Replika, Phasis, Dirt etc. Quite a bit more elaborate than a simple filter plugin.

But, let's not argue, but be happy what Arturia released for free here.
