Hi all.
I Saved a project to use 8 VST with my Numa Compact 2x.
Everything works like a charm but there are 2 little problems.

- The "State" of my plug-in (Selected Sound, Tracks, Midi Channel in Vst Settings) is lost (resetting to default settings like first run) when I Close the VST window. For Example in M1 VST:
1. I open Project
2. I Open VST from Mixer Screen. Default settings are: Midi Channel 1, Synth Lead Combi Sound,
3. I Change settings (Midi Channel 7, Prog -> Pads - > Soft pads).
4. I Save the Project (Save Edit)

Now ...
1. If i Close VST Windows, the sound come back to "Synth Lead Combi". So i Had To "MINIMIZE" or leave Open Windows VST to use my Soft Pad.
2. If I Close Waveform Project, when i open the project I have to run again every step to recall softpad and channel midi 7.

This problem is affected to all Plug ins into the project. (Numa Player, Vb3, Dexed, M1, Edirol Orchestra ...) I have to open one by one and change my favorite sounds.
I would like "save" my favorite sound as default when i open the Project.

Thanks in advance.
Best Regards.

I had this issue once. Are you sure, you didn't turn on the automation or program change accidentally?

I had this issue with the M1 plugin and another vst on a T6 project years ago. The issue turned out to be the program change being recorded in the clip. I would save the project with one sound, but opening the project and pressing play would flip the program to a different sound when the playhead hit the program change.

It got so annoying that I stopped doing them. Now, I create a second track and load another instance of the plugin with the new sound loaded. Outside of working with hardware synths, there's been no benefit for me to issue program changes to software plugins.

But I think what's happening is the plugin is being saved with one sound, but the program change in the clip is conflicting.

When I work with hardware, I create a clip with JUST the msb, lsb, and prog ch data in it, at drag that clip where I need the change to occur, even if it overlaps a music clip. I then edit the data in that clip with the new bank and sound. Works fine, and it keeps that data out of the music clip. By using a preset, I have custom presets for different hardware ready to go in an instant.
Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and even Deezer, whatever the hell Deezer is.
