Blaster wrote: Wed Dec 21, 2022 9:59 pm You need to activate Pro Tools first via an iLok account (can be new one, just for this purpose). After that, the inner circle thing will show up.
Already did that to my existing iLok account but again I didn't install Pro Tools and won't.

Still no inner circle.

EDIT: Ok I got it now. I was confusing Pro Tools Intro with the Pro Tools Artist 3 month sub. :dog:

Thanks for all the help and patience everyone! :tu:
That is good to hear! :)

I noticed in the Pro Tools Intro area there is a section for plugins and one of them is Xpand!2. It doesn't show a serial for it there but it also doesn't say anything about iLok. Does anyone know if I have to install PT Intro to get it to work?

Have been considering getting MashTactic for a while.

Does it or their other plugins ever go on sale?

After I logged in, at the top right I clicked Account.
On the next screen I clicked My Products.
Then click the last one that says Pro Tools Inner Circle.
Thanks but I just went back and I still don't see Pro Tools Inner Circle. Maybe I'm just not seeing it. :?

Under "My Special Offers" there is nothing but four offers to sign up for various subscription deals.

So are the vouchers for like $25 off something at Plugin Alliance or for a specific free plugin or? Wondering if it's worth bothering with any further.
Just so you know, you actually have to activate the protools 3 month thing and add it to your ilok. the deals won't come up until then.

They’re legit. I’ve bought from them before. It is a huge discount though, I’d also have sensed red flags without the context.
Thanks. Still seems like a ridiculously low cost for this software. I'm guessing that means a version 4 is soon to be announced haha. Get people on the upgrade cycle.
IzoTope deal pricing was always a little odd and now they’re in the orbit of Plugin Alliance all bets are off. NI were doing pump and dump on their end of line products like Absynth recently too.

Quikquak stuff is always pretty intriguing, much of it looks old, but I guess he keeps up on them with compatibility and whatnot. Thought about it, but never pulled the trigger as yet. Anyway,
they are on sale right now actually. -20% with the code: Chrimbo22 until jan 1 23.

I think they have some kind of yield management based variable pricing going on.

There's a pattern though. I doubt if you'll see non-essential versions of Neutron or Ozone with such deep discounting. I assume that for things like Nectar and Stutter Edit; they know how roughly how big the market it for selling them at full price, and once that's reached, deep discounting makes them more money because a lot more people buy them on impulse.

Or ADSR put the decimal in the wrong place, which seems likely given its now 124.50

Nice. Unfortunately due to tax getting added post-checkout in the UK even with 10% off it still works out marginally cheaper to go via NI's site.

Ah that would explain it alright. The deal was too good to be true. That's a pretty big oops to make.

Really? Wonder why it does that. For me it lets me checkout via Paypal for £79.

Two other freebies with the Focusrite/Avid deal that are good are T-Racks 5 SE and Amplitube 5 SE.
