I don't want to put words in his mouth so you can enquire about MPE on the Synapse forums and get the word right from him.
When we consider that D3 is 8 synths in one, each with 3 Oscs, 4 synthesis types, dual filters, two FX racks, Dual Arp/Seqs etc, etc, then we can see where it might be too complex to make MPE control practical.
I'm sure someone is furiously banging away now on their keyboard "but XYZ synth is complex and it has MPE" so again it's better to let Richard explain his reasoning in his own words.
Synapse did add MPE to The Legend so it's not a foreign concept to them.
I'd love to know what percentage of the market actually owns an MPE device. I know the ones who do are quite vocal about it but I don't know if that makes them numerous or just loud.
