Hi all,

Some weeks ago, I purchased a nanoKONTROL2 to be used by Waveform. Although there was already a KORG nanoKONTROL2 controller by default, it didn't seem to work with mine. Then, I found the excellent tutorial by Zane Smith

This setup uses the Mackie Control Universal (MCU) controller and it works fine. However, the mode in which the MCU works for nanoKONTROL2 is the SONAR mode, which does not have the marker <SET> button enabled. Also, the <CYCLE> button does not enable the Loop mode, as I expected.

I started taking a peek at the source code with the idea of changing these two things. It was really a big, messy piece of code for a generic controller with many more features than the humble nanoKONTROL, so I decided to write my own small controller from scratch, which you can download from my GitHub repository for those interested.

This controller works in CUBASE mode, which must be activated only once by holding <SET> and <REW> while powering on. The CUBASE mode enables the marker <SET> button. The controller file must be placed in the Tracktion/Waveform/Controllers/User subfolder, to override the default KORG nanoKONTRORL2.js without actually modifying it.

Implemented solo button flash when solo isolation mode is activated for tracks but no solo button is yet currently pressed.
Current version is "1.1.1"-
