On linux Waverazor gui is broken. when you start it, it draws it over the top of the window bar, so you then get a black bar at the bottom (because its all sized correctly just drawn overlapping). in this state, the preset dropdowns work if you click on them. you cant move the window either (since you cant grab the title bar).
if you resize the window, it gets drawn correctly but then the preset dropdowns dont work (other buttons like arrows do work).
it works correctly in reaper, renoise and bitwig all on linux without resizing, just not in waveform pro.
waveform 11.1.0 + 11.2.1 beta (same results in beta).
waverazor 2.5.3
ubuntu 20.04.1 lts

Thanks for the detailed report. This is something that got broken somewhere between Juce and Waveform along the way this year, and as you have confirmed, it seems to only be a problem in Waveform. Am chatting with the Tracktion folks and will hopefully have something to work with soon. Cheers! - Rob

For the life of me, I can't figure out why MOK insists on keeping Waverazor's torturous GUI. Sure, I could just ignore, which is what I did. I just recently learned, however, that Richard Devine created presets for it. If the synth's good enough for him, who am I to complain? Maybe some creative genius is working on skins for it? Intrancer? Up to the task?
If you can't dazzle 'em with brilliance, baffle 'em with bullshit.

I also couldn't use it for so long, until I got a setup with bigger screens, like it was so bad as to be unusable with my eyes. I need to dig into it sometime as some of the presets sound great but yeah, GUI is so important.Boy Wonder wrote: Sat Dec 24, 2022 9:57 pm For the life of me, I can't figure out why MOK insists on keeping Waverazor's torturous GUI.
