I'm only seeing their yearly upgrade sale. Any deals on new purchases?
I got links last week that made the crossgrade price $59. This "sale" shows it at $69. And when adding to cart comes up at $99. Assuming the discount code is applied during checkout, 25% off would put it around $74.? In short, this doesn't look like any special "deal" but the same come on pricing as they usually have.
The retail price of BIAB pro is $129, and the 25% off is a special offer for reaper users.

They are trying to do this, they say, but most likely illegal, and in any case would take my accept

I would never accept this, as I consider the sale final,..

My plug is mine, already in use, registered at Izotope, and on my iLok,..

If they return any money I will just return them back again
NebulaFamous wrote: Sat Dec 24, 2022 3:23 pm I won't buy anything from ADSR again.I mixed a project with Nectar 3, now they will revoke the licence and they offer a drum machine(for a limited time) instead which is useless for me.This is not professional at all.

Dirtgrain wrote: Sat Dec 24, 2022 5:09 pm Oh damn, you already got the license and they take it back. That also doesn't look good for Izotope. It feels illegal, as well.
They usually have something in the EULA along the lines of: “You hereby forfeit all of your consumer and constitutional rights” and “you’ll own nothing and be happy.”
VitaminD wrote: Sat Dec 24, 2022 6:02 pm Did Izotope remove Nectar 3 Plus from your Izotope accounts?
Sales are final ,.. due to both fairness and legal matters ,.. at least where I am comming from

So what ADSR is trying is IMHO illegal ,. besides being shameless ,.. just the fact that they try

I guess/hope Izotope is not supporting this BS , or I will boycot both them and ADSR from here

I guess a collective customer law-suit could be done in case as well

And anyway ,.. Izotopes reputation and goodwill will drop to the buttom in case

ADSR is not worth that for Izotope I guess ,.. not even in case it had been legal

Status: The license is mine, still on my iLok, in the Product Portal, in my www user-account, and installed on my machine well working

Don't fall into ADSR illegal trap and threats, besides being shameless, and left from any responsebility, this is by far the most rediculess and amateurish behaviour I have ever seen,
in the last 30 years being in the game :-)

Maybe it only worked for a short time, or they got in trouble with NI/u-he because their products became simply too cheap with this code
That's a shame! If anyone knows a code that makes Zebra Legacy bundle cheaper than $99 on either iZotope, U-He or Native Instruments sites... please let us know : )

(Yes I'm a cheapskate)

I guess it comes down to what the law says where you live, but you considering the sale final may not mean it is.

iLok licenses can be recalled. I had that happen to me once.

Having said that, iZotope tends to be very laissez-faire with iLok licenses. They probably don't care enough to bother with a recall.

Guess you are right mgw38

Even if ADSR find a way to avoid the general rules, and standards for decent behaviour, still it would take that Izotope and iLok also lower themself down into supporting ADSR's nonsense

I don't see this being in Izotopes interest evt. to loose own customers due to supporting ADSR

(and thereby supporting some obvious bad and rediculess moves from ADSR)

So, yes, maybe this wil be where this case ends

If not I can easely live without them both, needed be, but hope for the best,..

Maybe ADSR wil come back to common sense, and make an appology for their behaviour

In that case they are forgiven, and I might even consider to use them again

Forgive their spam as well that is , like mentioned elsewhere, yes, the bad end of the scale

Of course I could demo them, but does anyone have Lite and recommend it? What's it best suited for? Or should I rather consider Seventh Heaven (non Pro) over it?

I see that both plugins support iLok machine activation.
I bought Lite last year and don’t feel the need to upgrade.
I dont really care for multiband, i do ducking externally always (since i have a workflow developed for it already anyway) and I don’t care for bitcrusher.

Dunno if you bought it but i can absolutely recommend Lite.
It’s great on vocals and synths for me

As far as the Nectar thing goes I'd have been more willing to help ADSR out if they'd asked me to as opposed to just telling me they were going to void my license regardless. I don't like that.

Thanks. I did buy Tai Chi Lite first, as it is an excellent reverb with a good tweakability, but I ended up upgrading to Standard immediately as I thought the additional features were well thought out and useful to me.

Getting Lite first is a great idea. Upgrade price is just the difference and when you do upgrade, you also retain your Lite license (for use with existing sessions).

If you are to pick just one LiquidSonics reverb, Tai Chi should be the first choice in my humble opinion.

I have Seventh Heaven Professional. I don't know anything about Tai Chi, but now I'm thinking of taking a look…

Looks like the sale is over though....

Tai Chi Lite doesn't seem different enough to interest me much, and I have other reverbs I like better. But the tail controls in Tai Chi full might be interesting....

Where is 29? I've just seen it for $99 on the oficial website.

I checked it out and the sale ended Dec. 11th on their website.

Did anyone try to order something from the IK Multimedia site today? I tried to order an item on sale a few times and it keeps saying "The system was unable to process your payment."
I know the CC I am using is fine and use it on a regular basis, so it shouldn't have anything to do with it.

I know it's Christmas day, but that shouldn't have anything to do with it, right?

EDIT: I just tried it with Visa (versus Discover) and then it worked. :)
