The Bebe Cherie looks interesting. I've been wondering lately, why there aren't more mixers and patch bays with 1/8" jacks, instead of 1/4" jacks. With all the modular gear on the market, it would seem like a good idea to make some mixers (and especially patch bays) in the 1/8" format.elxsound wrote: Mon Dec 26, 2022 7:35 pm XPO is on my list.
Generation Loss MKII will arrive in 2023
And if I can order at normal non scalper prices, I’ll be happy to pick up the Bebe Cherie from OTO Machines.

I checked the OTO Machines website, and all their other gear is sold out, and the Bebe Cherie apparently hasn't been released yet. About all they have available at the moment are some spiffy coffee mugs.

i had not, quite interesting though, wasn't sure how id feel about it going in, but the guy at the end made some nice sounds with it.
i mean, i know the sounds are samples, but the playing of them sounded good is what i mean.
it doesn't look very nice though especially after he's shown you a real acoustic one

I forget which site I checked, but there were pre-orders up already and an anticipated release in April. Their price was higher than what OTO machines announced in their Instagram post.McLilith wrote: Wed Dec 28, 2022 5:07 pmThe Bebe Cherie looks interesting. As long as I can pay the OTO price, I’m in, but otherwise I’ll just wait.
As for 1/8” inputs on mixers, I’m all for it but I do see many still want 1/4” inputs. For me space is an issue so I love this direction.
Either Shabdabriah or Pekbro posted a link to an Ozzy seller with a 1/8” input patchbay. It was affordable too, but just slow builds and limited availability.

Oh, a new thread already!
Bebe Cherie looks great, but no sends/returns? I'd love to see more small mid/high-end mixers.
...And smaller split/in-line mixers that are actually designed for recording tasks!

I was disappointed by that too, but I think I plan on using this with BlueBox in some capacity.justin3am wrote: Wed Dec 28, 2022 6:57 pm Oh, a new thread already!

Plus there’s an alt out that I think could be used to create a send/return?!?
I’m hoping for more options in the next year too.

I have no plans for 2023. I already have a lot of gear and I don’t want to spend a lot of money. Trigone 6 and H90 are tempting, but they are a lot of money and I don’t feel like spending all that money… we’ll see!
The only piece of gear planned for 2023 is a rackmount power strip, which I already wanted to buy last november but the delivery to the local music store is experiencing some delay…
And maybe I’ll buy an oscilloscope for my diy builds, but I’m still quite undecided on this one…

I need to get shut of stuff before I think about buying anything. I counted up my pedals before Christmas and was a little surprised to find I have over 250. I knew I had a lot and quite a few are out on loan (so I haven't seen them for a while) but it's become a bit ridiculous really. I've also got a nice LeFay bass which I don't really play enough to justify having any more.
On the buying side, I played an early PRS DGT last week and that could be the next purchase if I shift a good number of pedals.
