Late Replies feature request: link plugins

Hi BC folks,

In the feedback loops section, it would be great to add a new "link plugins" button next to the present link button.

When this button is on, any plugin added to an L1 slot with also be added to the L2 slot on the right.

And there should be some color coding, so, the slot in L2 should be green and locked. now, tweaking the L1 slot will apply the same changes to the L2 slot plugin.

And even if the "link plugins" button is then turned off, the link should remain, and there should be an option added to the click-menu to "break link". After which you can edit both L1 & L2 freely.

This would be really useful because often i know i want to have the same plugin in L1 & L2, so this would be quicker then using macros.

It would also be great if each control in the feedback section could be individually linked with a simply right-click, "link" operation.

Yes, linking plug-ins would indeed be nice. But there are a few technical challenges to do so (some plug-ins and/or plug-in formats will only notify the host upon public parameter changes and not other parts of the plug-in state), so it would probably not be very reliable.
