Hello,

I finally got the time to make some music and was curious to hear how the presets are sounding for The McharmVerb since I paid for the upgrade, but the root folder says (0). I also tried the download button and searching manually on my MacBook running Big Sur for preset files, all to no avail.

All help is welcome, thanks in advance.

I'm guessing you're looking at the Designer presets at the bottom. The global presets are at the top (see screenshot)

If you make the window wider, it'll actually say presets as well.

I mean, you're not wrong to look for presets at the part that's labeled "presets" :D

Funny you should mention the 0 presets business. The Additive generator suffers from that. No presets in either the Additive bar or Harmonics bar. At least Harmonics has a randomizer, so that's kewl.
If you can't dazzle 'em with brilliance, baffle 'em with bullshit.

There are some presets available in the Additive module when you look at the Structure.

You're right, though, that there are many parts without presets in MSF. It makes sense if you consider that the purpose of MSF is to create instruments/devices, but it would still be nice to have at least some presets for every part.

Yeah. Thanks for pointing that out. I've also been watching Chandler's videos. MSF is MUCH deeper than I thought. Since I often learn my deconstructing sounds, presets all over the place come in handy, especially if they're as complicated as the ones Richard Devine makes or the presets in PhasePlant.
