Which Setup Offers More Flexibility/Features Using Connector

I'm considering using the Connector with 1 of 2 different types of DAW interface. They're BOTH PreSonus. Either the Studio Series III 16R because all of the FX are onboard, and the 16-chs. OR the Quantum due to the T'bolt low-latency, along with the abundance of flexible connectivity. I'm wondering which will tax my PC the most, either having all my FX onboard, or will the Quantum T-bolt3 provide enough speed to overcome the lack of those onboard FX IF I'm using Connector?
If the Tbolt is fast enough I'd rather have the xtra connectivity.

As replied in the support ticket, we do not have experience with these, so it's pretty hard to give advice on such hardware.King Conga wrote: Thu Jan 12, 2023 9:18 pm I'm considering using the Connector with 1 of 2 different types of DAW interface. GEEZ! If you want me to buy your unique s'ware, how do you expect me to buy it if you won't help me research it, AT ALL? Can't you at least make a determination if 1 interface is Thunderbolt 3 withOUT onboard FX, and the other is USB-2/Type B with ALL ch.s having ALL necessary FX. Which option would YOU take? It would have taken you all of 10-15 mins to research that.

If you are asking my own opinion, regardless what you want to do, I'd rather use an audio interface without any built-in effects, as you can do everything with software these days! But that's my personal opinion, and I don;t know tis particular gear and what you are up to!
