Currently parameters can only be automated inside MuLab using "Parameter Event Generators".
This can be a bit cumbersome when you want to automate and control multiple parameters of a plugin. Also it seems unclear why these produce "events" at the output and not modulation.
I suggest that you allow to add and remove parameter pins to modules as modulation pins directly. This could be selected via context menu - "edit exposed parameters". There you select which automation parameters of a plugin / composer etc. are visible as modulation pins at the module box. Boxes need to be sized big enough that all exposed pins are visible.
With such pins visible it much cleaner and clearer how to automate plugins!

No, that's not true, automation tracks can directly automate any parameter of any module inside that composer.masterjoe wrote: Fri Jan 20, 2023 9:02 am Currently parameters can only be automated inside MuLab using "Parameter Event Generators".
Because automation and modulation are 2 different things. Also it seems unclear why these produce "events" at the output and not modulation.
Automation changes the parameter value itself, modulation adds a relative value to the parameter value without changing the parm value itself.
About modulation, also see this doc pag: https://www.mutools.com/info/M9/docs/mu ... ditor.html

Hm, okay, I see
So still my FR is valid to have an option to expose one or multiple parameters of a plugin / composer or MUX as pins in the exposing module using a menu. This menu shall allow selecting which of the module's params to expose in one go (check-boxes?). Eventually here you can then even select whether a modulation or an automation pin (or even both?) shall be added to the module.
It's a usability thing and makes modules a bit more compact when you want to have pins to send modulation or automation to.
Would be nice, thanks
