Precisely. If it can't be faster to work with or achieve better results, there is no point in having it. That's why I uninstalled it last night. At this point in time I am looking for things that inspire me and last night and this morning are perfect examples of what doesn't and what does. Last night I feel like I wasted 45 minutes or so with MiniFreak, whereas this morning I loaded an instance of Concept 2, for the first time in a very long time, and almost made myself miss the bus to work because I was getting so many great sounds from it. I think I saved out half-a-dozen new patches (based on factory presets) in less than an hour.EnGee wrote: Fri Jan 20, 2023 9:55 amBut you have many others to do the ordinary sounds, why you want to replicate things here also?
I don't understand the difference. To me, aggressive is big and brash and punchy and fast. It can just as easily be digital or analogue. After playing around with it. I don't feel that MiniFreak is capable of big and brash and punchy and fast at all. What it does is more in the realm of ugly sounds that to me are mostly unmusical.Well, I don't mean anlogish agressive (like in Korg Odyssey for example) but like digital agressive (Massive and others).
I think it was a factor in the initial poor impression I got of it but after I noticed last night, I turned it up so it was on par with everything else.Well, I see that the loudness was important factor in your decision!
