Is all the moaning really more interesting?
One does not simply walk into a thread where Bones is posting and write such things. :dog:
Doing nothing is only fun when you have something you are supposed to do.

Oh dear god. Once again Bones is posting his opinion and trying to tell other people what they should like or not like.

I've watched Bones over the years belittle hundreds of people on this forum. It's gotten so bad that mods have called him out on it. And he damn well knows it.

Bones does not argue in good faith. He always enters the picture looking to be a big shot and prove himself right. Over his little opinions. If you have ever watched his posts over the years, you know he is pathetic. Engaging with him gets him excited because he is always looking for a fight.

One thing that mohawks and opinions have in common is that every asshole has one.

He's also factually wrong. very few instruments, hardware or vst have POLYPHONIC effects, like Minifreak. It's extremely rare but Bones wants to flop his fat opinion and try to tell people that plenty of plugins do what Minifreak is doing. He of course will not and cannot get over himself and his dumb opinions and ever admit any fault whatsoever. Just watch -- if he chooses to reply, he will act like he's never done anything wrong.

There is no maybe about it. BONES is most definitely an asshole. Don't know why anyone engages with that wanker. But we continue to do so.

Using one thread on this website as some form of proof that this synth sounds good or bad is just beyond stupid. Heres a hint: download it and make the decision for yourself. Thats what the trial is for.
I remember that guy tried to get me to post my resume because I had an opinion on how I used hardware in my workflow. I saw his website, instantly knew he was a clown and blocked. Dude literally posts all day on this board and just runs his mouth and tries to act like he is some authority. Half of the threads on here say "ignored user" but its better than reading some local band guys drivel.

This synth I think has potential for pads, has really nice bell sounds, but most importantly is probably a great fit for anyone who wants something really simple to patch sounds on. I like how you can modulate a lot of unique parameters quite easily. Its a nice synth, worth a demo. I thin Arturias crowning acheivement is Pigments, but this one is worth a look. I think a decent amount of tracks will have the Minifreak on them since it was an affordable synth that sold a lot of units. The software can get that same sound and is fairly priced.

He tried to get you to post a resume because you had an opinion? Yup. Typical Bones.

Does this mean different effects can be assigned to each voice? If not, what's the benefit of it?

So oscillator two includes a handful of effects that act on oscillator 1. With no modulation or routing, it acts like your typical send/master effect. But once you assign modulation (AT or envelope or whatever) these effects are per voice. You can literally hold down a few keys and hear the effects reacting differently to each key.

This video explains it better than I can (FF to about 2 mins in):

The synth also supports in it's sequencer the ability to have an entirely different synth for each step. The type(synthesizer type) parameter switches instantly - and is modulatable per step in the sequencer/arpeggiator. So each step can be a different synth engine. Each step in the sequencer can modulate up to 3 parameters, including the synth engine.

This video shows about (12:40 mins in) changing the synth engine per step:

Given that you can change each synth engine per voice in the seq/arp, I wonder if Arturia could implement an option like that where you hold down a handful of keys and get a different Osc 2 effect per key? that would be awesome.
