The Multi-Point Envelope is nice and can provide triggered rhythmical patterns.
I image having MULTIPLE envelope shapes inside one instance of the Multi-Point Envelope editor.
So you could add knobs [1] [2] [3] ... [n] to the window to allow switching between multiple envelopes in one instance of Multi-Point Envelope. Every envelope has it's own set of params and a unique curve definition.

Having multiple envelopes opens up the door for:
- changing the envelope on the fly (switching between them)
- MORPHING between these envelopes with a morph input value (coool!!!)

It would allow amazing new options to make organic changes via morphing or switching in a triggered envelope :)

Hope you like it!

I can't check it atm but you can try this:
- audio dispatcher for changing envs on the fly (after signal conversion)
- balancer module, or perhaps even xy pads for envelope morphing

Yeah, sure, while there might be solutions with many nodes / modules involved I am rather looking for an integrated and easy to use solution for every day 😊 Therefore I posted this FR because an integrated solution with morphing would make things swift and smooth. πŸ‘
I prefer single window solutions in any case and the FR suggests one 😊

Sure, I get it. I'm afraid though, that adding more complex embedded features like that might clutter the interface. I wonder, was this FR inspired by Phaseplant by any chance?

Post

No it was not 😊

I don't think that adding multiple envelope "slots" and a morph parameter are too much added complexity for the multi-point envelope.

Well, we'll see 😊
