Will Melda ever do a sampler.
Or do they already have one with the M Drummer?
Would be cool if it could import Kontakt, Halion and other usefull formats.
It does not need fx, but my be could host your favourite and use it.
Time stretch and pitch shift would be cool like this elastic things you find in
Halion and Kontakt.
May be some sort of MPC stile like Drum layout to choose, if you need on.
I want it simple.
This big boys on the market are much to...................big.
Halion and Kontakt are not really easy to work with, beside they sound greate.

Well, there's already the sampler module in MSoundFactory for some months now.
System: Win 10 64 bit / i9 9900K (8x 3.6 GHz) / 16 GB DDR4-3200 RAM / 1TB M.2 SSD + 2x 500 GB SSD / RME Babyface / Reaper

It’s a shame none of the MSamplers have any kind of stretch or tempo sync for loops etc.

Yeah, I was looking for stretching today in MSoundFactory's sampler unit. Would like to see it added at some point, but I presume they have more pressing matters to attend to.topaz wrote: Thu Feb 03, 2022 12:20 am It’s a shame none of the MSamplers have any kind of stretch or tempo sync for loops etc.

Please add time-stretching to the sampler (a few different modes: smooth, beat etc), that would make it a crazy powerful sampler to rival Halion & Kontakt!
Halion has the problem that none of the FX are modulatable and Kontakt has the smallest, most horrible little interface known to man, so it's just this one little missing detail that prevents creative sample mangling in Melda to really take off.
@Mr Melda, is this on your road-map?

It is, but not sure when this could happen.

A sampler really would be the ultimate final piece, or than a customizable midi map and sequencer, to rival kontakt. This would be so much better than Kontakt

Can I just say, a sampler VST that accepted all the old 90s formats without using a separate program to convert it to a new one would kinda be life changing for all the jungle/dnb guys. For example loading an EMU CD image and the being able to load a preset for the sampler that mimics and EMU XT4's specs and the in another instance have an AKAI program loaded into it with the right filter model.
Tal sampler ass the DAC and filters but no compatability.
