Patchwork - When comes version with scanning plugin folders ?

Not scanning plugin folders is the number one reason for me using PatchWork almost exclusively! I'm hoping Reaper, Magma, ReValver and MIDI Guitar 2 will consider changing to this superior method!

I really wouldn't want to see this happen.
That said, if it would be added as an option, it could satisfy some users.
Like stated by @mmann , it's also a reason why I like/use PatchWork so much.

It is indeed not for everyone. We are however considering adding a way to scan plug-ins upon request (NOT automatically upon each load), so that it would let you build your favorites list faster. But there are a couple of challenges to make it right, so it's still under heavy thinking
