So, I bought the upgrade via a reputable 3d party online retailer (FX Chain) and have bought many other products- not all -from them over the past 5 years. However, when I input the new license number for the upgraded version (v6) into the Presonus system @ https://my.presonus.com , the Presonus page barked at the license number, whilst citing the need for the one it is replacing. This makes me wonder whether the old/new number should have been linked at the POS. Of course, if I enter the old license number, I get an error anyway...already registered. Ultimately, I cannot register my upgrade and/or acquire the download link. I even tried downloading the demo and upgrading that accordingly.

Meanwhile, my ticket describing the matter sits un-responded to, as I am unable to download/registered the purchased product. I'll imagine that upgrades are a regular part of the Personus business model. Ergo, my example (ie upgrade purchase via 3rd party vendor) is somewhat commonplace.

And I was not going to upgrade... :dog:
I've got nothing to sell...am I on the right site?

I had no problems with my upgrade. I bought it through Best Service and it took them a couple of days to get me a serial number, which they told me about up-front, but once I had it, the upgrade was seamless. As for FX Chain, what makes you think they are a reputable retailer? Nothing comes up when I search for them, except some share trading platform.

Yup!

I was looking for it in all the wrong places. It's not easy to find and the shop should have given you the info.
