Plugin, but FabFilter Pro-Q3. Opened my eyes to how infinitely expandable a reverb effect could be and is probably the most diverse yet somewhat easily usable one on the market.

I've had a vintage U87 in my studio.
It sounded more like my Oktava MK105 (less bass) than my Austrian Audio OC818.
I'm not sure if that's a testament to my Oktava, or should I sell the OC818.

In any case, i bet more music today, even billboard, uses valhalla than lexicon.

I bought an Oktava once. It sounded like I was recording with an empty beer can.

I haven't demo'd them yet, but Bleass Shimmer and UA Tails are pretty close to being my ultimate reverb.
- Algorithmic
- Various rooms and plates
- Shimmer
- Input filter/Pre-EQ/Pre-Filter controls
- Diffusion
- Reverb EQ

Recently I'm using only 2C-Audio Breeze 2 with Precedence. It's so nice to place a sound directly in Precedence and Breeze update it's settings automatically. I'm on Windows though.

If you could have only one reverb, what would you choose?
