Importing BWAVs

HI--i am new to Waveform.

I work primarily with BWAVS- or broadcast wave files. I have a question about importing these files. Sometimes Waveform asks whether i want file to be imported placed on its TC stamp position on the timeline-- Some times it does not at all. Seems very random. And i did not see a way to tell waveform to use the TC stamp.

2nd- when importing poly wavs sometimes more than two tracks- Waveform seems to only be importing two tracks- as stereo file. Does Waveform want MONO wavs--?
