Really liking Noise Engineering’s Basimulus Iteratis, seems basic at first but rewards deeper experimentation

Liking the Goran Grooves handy Drum stuff at the moment: fast to load, self-contained instruments, low CPU, nicely sampled with plenty of variations. Cheap too but don't sound cheap.
The page deosn't show all available until you press 'load more' then there's 3 percussion options:

One or two of the ones I listed above are here by the author along with several others; I've tried most and all well worthwhile IMO: http://www.alanvista.com/

ProteusVX 32 bit rompler plugin has dozens of kits, which are mostly mapped to 61 or more keys, so lots of '90's variety. When yo load it in a daw, use the ProteusVX file menu to select and load the soundset. Lots of other useful sounds are included, based on the Proteus 2000 sound module/synth.
Cheers
