Hi,

I've heard many praises of MuLab on KVR, about it's depth and flexibility. What attracted me to try it was the added performance/live matrix mode that I prefer to the linear one.
I'm sorry if the below points have been addressed or have easy solution, I just give my first impressions:

- The starting setup is clipping (especially the moog). I know fixing is 2 clicks away, but still...
- I understand the need for demo limitation, but the frequency of that white noise interruptions is too high and makes one just give up on demoing...plus 40 mins to restart, plus no save, what's the point?
- no control via external launchpad for clip start stop is a showstopper for this workflow
- a more visual countdown to clip start for record is needed
- instant view on the created clip, when recording instead of it appearing at stop
- ability to easily edit the starting point of the clip, not only the end
- pop-up window for choice of overdub/replace etc every time, is not usable. At least add a tickbox to remember the option.

There are so many implementations of clip launcher workflow, being a latecomer, allows to cherrypick the best ones and add the personal touch to it.

I understand this is the first update with clip launching, so I'm looking forward to future updates.

Thank you

It depends on how many notes you're playing together.

If demo limitations are too mild, it are not demo limitations.
So it will always be about a balance between space to try things out and limit it so it's not really usable as a full product.

You can start/stop clips and scenes using the Note Action Map. See the video below.
- ability to easily edit the starting point of the clip, not only the end
Open the sequence editor, right-click the time bar, "Set Clip Start".

Thank you for taking the time to answer me. I always appreciate the dedication and talent of solo devs who create such compex software alone.
Answers to yours in the same order:
- it clips at one note. Maybe just add a limiter to the master track.
- in uderstand about demo. It should be not usable, but why make it a bad experience for potential customer? It is a fairly priced product, so let us get hooked first and then make us pay ;)
- thank you for the video, will try to map the controller pads

Will definitely keep an eye on Mulab!

If you don't like the provided templates you can make your own. Tip: if you save a template as "New" it'll be launched whenever you start a new project.
