i've been using waveform since version 4 and the developers were pretty active. but the last year it seems we're hearing nothing about the daw. i'm seeing new synths and the like, but, nothing on the daw front. just curious...

I don't know. I assume they are busy with the next release. There should be testers of new releases using this board, so perhaps one of them could ask the devs to either say something or make a suitably reassuring comment on their behalf.
[W10-64, T5/6/7/W8/9/10/11/12/13, 32(to W8)&64 all, Spike],[W7-32, T5/6/7/W8, Gina16] everything underused.

I assure that the developers are aware of the mood of users here on the forum, and they are also aware of the inappropriate behavior of waveform 12 (pro), about all the errors, failures. Support reads and responds to emails. They are trying to fix errors and failures, or at least they are trying to find the cause
But the silence with the future DAW is incomprehensible.

Hi, we are still around and working on Waveform. Expect 12.5 to be released in the NAMM 2023 timeframe (Mid April) with a few cool new features, fixes, etc. I don't spend as much time on KVR these days, but our beta testers are here and they bring back bugs and enter them into our bug tracker. Easier for us to work from one place.

Incredibly welcome news from FigBug--not about 12.5, but that they're still logging into KVR.
Am very hopeful 12.5 fixes my audio issues that makes 12 virtually unusable for recording live instruments.

Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and even Deezer, whatever the hell Deezer is.
