Recording through s/pdif in Tracktion?

I have a turntable with digital outs and I have it routed to my sound card. I can monitor what's playing through my monitors just fine but the input for recording into Tracktion does not show up. Is this a Tracktion issue or a hardware/driver issue for my sound card? I do not see the inputs show up when I boot tracktion and go to the settings pane. Just my regular stereo 1+2.

It sounds like it might be a driver issue. All of the inputs for your soundcard should show up under "Wave device". Forgive me if this sounds like a stupid question, but do you have "only show enabled devices" checked off? What soundcard are you using and what drivers (ASIO or DirectSound if on Windows)?

It works now for some reason. I bet I had to let my computer sleep and then wake it up, which re-awakens the firewire interface and initializes it. Thanks for you suggestion.
