Even Tâches Teaches noted in one if his videos that he still use Live for detection and so on.
Maybe the BW team needs to bypass the company’s firewall and access forums such as this one and have a reality check?
Onset/transient detection issues still?

Just chiming in hoping this was improved in v5 - it isn't. I have a tracked piece of audio - a series of high hats with clear spacing and clear transients. Bitwig has detected about 50% of them. Oooof.

I know it’s easy to criticize, but man, what the heck. I’m surprised this is even an issue… I haven’t ever heard of other audio programs having such a problem with this kind of thing.

I just recorded 2 midi clips of different hi hat patterns then bounced them to audio. In these 2 cases, it did not miss any of the hits. All of them had onsets.
In other clips I have tried it still misses some. It's certainly not perfect and I would not trust it without checking, but in V4 it was terrible and it isn't anymore.
