About support for note scales: Yes that's on the wishlist too.
That's nice to hear :ud: Very appreciated and thank you!

The monitoring feature shall not only include notes being dragged around (= change in pitch) but ANY parameter of associated notes. So editing note velocities, MIDI data or embedded automation data shall also trigger monitoring the notes associated with the changed data. This way adjustments can be heard directly and therefore can be fine-tuned much better than without monitoring.

Thanks a lot! :tu:

Hi,

I’d like to join those who have commented on the note preview when selecting and moving notes in the MIDI editor.

For me, it would be very useful to hear the note automatically when changing its pitch using the arrow keys, without having to press Alt + click each time you try out a different note, then return to the cursor, try another note, and go back to Alt + click, etc

I really miss this feature in MuLab, as well as being able to hear the note directly when selecting it — without needing Alt + click.

Maybe it could be implemented as a configurable option, so each user can choose if they want to hear the note or not when selecting or moving it.

Thanks.

Yeah, that's now already possible as Jo has added an option in Preferences that allows you to turn previewing notes on!

Hi, thank you very much for your reply. :tu:

I enabled "Current value = on," but when I moved notes, I still couldn't hear them — until I realized it only works with the mouse :(

I often move notes using the arrow keys. For me, using the keyboard to move notes is more comfortable, but I see it doesn't work. :(

It's a shame. I would have appreciated it if, in addition to working with the mouse, it also worked with the keyboard."

All the best.
