Have you tried OBS Studio? I've used it to record several MuLab tracks and uploaded to youtube. Pretty easy to use too.hope4ever wrote: Tue Feb 07, 2023 8:14 pm Cyberlink Screen Recorder 3 (which i have) will not make a recording with mulab open i believe because Mulab takes control of the system audio away from the system (I know this because I do not hear system sounds like beep when i click to change the volume for the volume icon in system tray.)
Farting sounds from midi file Mulab 7.4.8

I heard nothing in the first clip at 1.21, but can hear the effect in the second clip at the specified times. Like Robert_P says, it sounds like a note repeat type thing, or perhaps distortion?

Thanks for listening.sl23 wrote: Sat Feb 11, 2023 1:56 pm I heard nothing in the first clip at 1.21, but can hear the effect in the second clip at the specified times. Like Robert_P says, it sounds like a note repeat type thing, or perhaps distortion?
I am happy some others can hear it too.
Thanks for the description in the hopes it helps. I am too inexperienced in making music to know what these things sound like.

One other thing I found, I think this has long been fixed though, is that in earlier version of MuLab, when it was left unattended for some time, not sure how long, it would distort the entire signal for some reason. The longer I left it the worse the distortion got. Although, I seem to remember it was only one MuX now I think about it. So it may have just been a faulty module or something.
But I doubt this has any bearing on your issue. Just thought I'd mention it as you're using an older version, I can't remember when this bug was fixed, think it was about two or three years ago, which may align with your version?

I have no way to be certain but looking at file dates within mulab it looks like i at least downloaded 7.4.8 in 2017. Though perhaps up to 2019. Either way yes above 3 years ago.sl23 wrote: Mon Feb 13, 2023 1:18 pm One other thing I found, I think this has long been fixed though, is that in earlier version of MuLab, when it was left unattended for some time, not sure how long, it would distort the entire signal for some reason. Thanks for the info
Another issue i found in Mulab was that every time i exported the project to audio (mp3), every export was different and sounding different than the others, slight variances. I do not know if that was intended or something to do with vst instrument plugin instruments I used in the project. To my knowledsge apart from mentioning it on the forum I never looked for an existing problem, nor created a new thread about it. I know I deleted a few of the exported audio files because some sound worse than others, wish I didnt do that now. Anyway this is off topic, was wondering whether distortion as you say had anything to do with that.IDK.

Sorry, that's not something I could help with. Only thing I can say is, if you are able to afford to, upgrade MuLab. I haven't experienced that issue I mentioned since and there are many other bug fixes and new features that make it worth while.
I hardly use those features but keep MuLab up to date to support Jo. MuLab is just so easy to use and pretty much does everything I want. Anyway, it's your decision, but I'd recommend it, even if it's just for your sanity.
