I'm shaping a ride that have too much sustain, and i want just the attack to be more present.
So i went all the attack up, and the sustain down. It work as it should, but the first ride hit it's very high in volume, while the others hit are fine.

There is any lookahead or something that allow me to have the same treatment for the first hit too?

Thanks

The problem is likely that before the first one the input is silent. So the "spike" the plugin amplifies is much bigger than in the other cases, where there's still a lot of energy in the audio. Try using an expander - instead of trying to amplify the ring, lower the sustain.

Hmm... So... A work around could be to make the first hit NOT the first hit. For example, copying the section and putting it immediately in front of the first hit, but automating the output volume so the track is muted until the first hit.

That's a workaround thanks for the hint

Exactly that's the problem.
Expander is an option i'm trying out right now, it may be better than i thought tbh, don't know about the workflow tought, i mean i have to understand if it's still better to work with a transient designer or if it's just me that i need to get used to a different workflow.

In any case is it possible to make a fix to make it sounds even at the first hit too?

Sorry not really, it's not a bug, it's just how it works. You can compress it afterwards too though, just put the threshold high enough.
