Extreme bad performance in Vegas 19 - normal?

I bought both Vegas 19 and a plugin pack from Melda.

The plugins create great sound, but are almost impossible to user in Vegas as an host.

When I apply an FX, let's say something with the EQ that goes from 10.0db to 10.5db (using an enveloppe in the automation section of Vegas), my system can not play the sound in realtime.

I use Vegas as a DAW, so no single pixel of video is placed / used on the timeline; audio (single track) only.

When the FX is "stable" (e.g. not inside an enveloppe) it works wel, but when going from X to Z, it's simple not usable.

Is this normal?

My system is maybe not top notch, but has the latest 12th gen Intel, 64GB ram, Pro Samsung SSD's, etc...

I highlighted an example of my timeline. The complete "enveloppe action" lasts about 2 seconds, but the sssssssooooooouuuunnnnnnnndddd rrrrreeeeaaaallllllyyyyyy ssssssllllllooooooowwwwwwwssss ddddooooooowwwwwwnnnnnnn (almost like an effect...).

I'm afraid that's almost definitely Vegas problem. It's working just fine everywhere else after all. Unfortunately we weren't able to discuss anything with them, they just don't respond. So feel free to contact them as their customer, maybe they will listen to you...

You are totally right, it's an extreme bug in the Vegas DAW, not in your plug-ins.

Sorry for posting it here; I almost spend 72 hours (and lot's of money) by debugging the newest Vegas 20.

I even bought older version in order to see where things did go wrong.
