I'm imaging something like this...with synthesizers...and, oh, I don't know, roughly ten percent less "pretty?"

I came up with this whole plan for the "BrutePest" that got increasingly elaborate. At one point I was going to buy a 6U Rackbrute, Warm Star The Bends, move some modules from the main case over to it, and get a Verbos Multi Delay...
That delay is impressive, but I slammed on the brakes when I realized just how slippery the slope had gotten.
Now I'm looking into just putting the WP and/or Pod 60 on a 2-tier stand with the Brute instead. Probably going with Loci or KVGear, but I wrote to both of them for advice. I want a steep angle and for the stand to sit atop my rack box which is only 9" deep. It looks to me like the KVGear L2 is kind of overkill and maybe too large a base, while the L1 can't handle an expansion shelf in its steep orientation. The Loci Classic might be too small for the Brute plus a shelf, but the XL should be able to do the job I think...

Has anyone here tried the Bluebox? I'm debating whether to send the cheap but functional old school rack mount mixer back and just pick up the Bluebox.

So, for best effect, are you supposed to smoke the modules as the come in, or snort them? f**k me, I was so disciplined in 2022! SOOOOO DISCIPLINED!!!

I love Omiindustriies, she's a great module designer imo, also super friendly and helpful. Her stuff is hard to get at times sadly.justin3am wrote: Thu Feb 16, 2023 9:00 pm I got one of these from Omiindustriies recently:

Says he who finally caved, and said: "OK, maybe just one little bite", in 2022. Picked-up one of these (replacement panel), for when I eventually find an irresistible deal on a DPO.

Grabbed the Loci XL & Expander, and the Oversynth white overlay for West Pest.

Ok, well, I think I might manage here, if it's ok to wrap it in the cable to get it started?WatchTheGuitar wrote: Thu Feb 16, 2023 9:49 pmenema obviouslyghettosynth wrote: Thu Feb 16, 2023 8:48 pm So, for best effect, are you supposed to smoke the modules as the come in, or snort them? f**k me, I was so disciplined in 2022! But, I'm not so sure I can manage alone with this. How soft are your fingers?

She definitely makes cool stuff and she teaches courses on synthesis, from what I understand. I like that her modules are mostly simple building blocks. She's a fellow Serge fan, so that makes sense.pekbro wrote: Thu Feb 16, 2023 11:16 pm
