I only have an old version of live that I haven't kept up with or used much ever. I would guess that on top of whatever is included with the dawn, you could also get some crazy max4live contraptions.

I am mostly using it in an 80s cover band. So, although it is for live performance, I am not really improvising or anything. I just need to match the sound.
I have used the arpeggiator in Syntronik 2 for Duran Duran's Hungry like the Wolf (and now a very simple repeated line for Kids in America). But, I may need to use an arp plug in for a sound source without a built-in arppegiator.
It looks like BluARP should (more than) do the trick for me! Thanks all!

It has some nice live features as well, like the ability to chain arp programs together. Might be a bit overkill for your uses, but, just saying that it has that feature.
TBH, most of the time I use more simple stuff though. As I mentioned above, if I need an arp, Komplete Kontrol usually does it for me.
