Is that so that, whatever color your deal comes in, you can replace it with black? I mean I get it, but I've also almost completely given up.

Ordered a jroo Loop. It'll go where my 4MS Mini PEG has been. I've never been quite satisfied with live looping in the DAW, and this one operates a lot like Tyme Sefari and a little like Phonogene, without being as lo-fi as either (unless you crank the rate way down on purpose).

I like this... seemingly very simple but thoughtful cv controls in just 8hp.

I still need to fire up xpo for the first time, but the wheels are turning, thinking of what fun this could be.

Yes. A number of their older modules are only available in silver, unless you buy the whole "shared system" which comes in black&gold. The panel I showed was made by Grayscale, who ceased producing them a few years ago when he started making his own line, so they are difficult to find.

Plus, with a few exceptions, I don't care for the (to me, confusing) cryptic fonts/art work of the MN stuff. I like/need as much visual continuity as possible (being profoundly dyslexic, and then a life altering TBI) with the panel colour and/or the knob style and sizes , so I've modded my Make Noise and Mutable Instruments panels to suit that 'functional' preference. It's like tricking-out a car. Which I used to do.

Oooo, that's interesting. Particularly in just 8hp, and the length of the recordings! I've been toying with picking-up a 4MS Mini PEG (eventually), what didn't work for you with it, or are you keeping it, but just relocating?

I just turned out not to like it as much as I thought I would. I have found myself using it just as a basic syncable LFO and I have plenty of those already.

Payday and I’ve just won one of these cheap off eBay. I didn’t realise it could actually be fed up to 4 separate v/oct values and let you build the chord that way, thought it was just set chords so immediately made it more attractive.
