DIVA Variance lights

I have a couple of presets where the lights of the Variance tab are PERMANENTLY ON. If I switch them off they won't turn back on (unless I use "undo"). Can anyone tell me (a) what this achieves (does it re-randomise every keystroke?) and (b) how do I make it happen? (All indications from the manual and the forum are that the lights only stay lit as long as they're pressed).

Could you name a few example presets for us to take a look at?

Thanks. So, klicking that little LED button will randomize a small per-voice offset value for Cutoff/Env/PW/Glide, whichever one you click on. It's supposed to turn off again after a click. The knob to its left enables you to move between 0% and 100% of that random offset. Clicking on that LED Button sends a hidden value of 1, releasing it sends a zero. The "1" value triggers the randomization.
I'm not sure if the LEDs in those presets are on because they were created in a pre-release beta (where things might have worked differently) or if that "1" value was manually added to the preset via a text editor. But looking into those presets, I can see that this value of 1 is saved in those presets. That means that the corresponding offset is randomized on each preset load. It's a "hack" basically.
