hello all, is it possible to control a "red box" for clip launchign via the flexi?

Only by selecting the prev/next clip.

Here is a little hotfix 19.2.1:

• All devices
  • New: Sped up arranger position changes (play position, loop, etc.). Normal, changes now 1 bar and slow, 1 quarter.
• Electra One
  • New: The last active mode is restored when returning from a different preset.
  • Fixed: Values were still set in other presets when changes appear in the DAW.
  • Fixed: Mode did not update the values when jumping back from a different preset.

I assume you refer to the active bank of eight tracks. Yes, I have two buttons via the flexi script that uses the “previous bank” and “next bank” commands.
(But not sure if you meant that.)

Lars, I am trying to assign clip launching across 8 channels and to bank between channels to my KMI softstep foot controller with lighting feedback. With flexi I have found the select track and bank options. Using those with fire clip slot one could allow me to fire clips across as many channels as I wish, but does not show me on the foot controller which tracks currently have clips playing.

Hello ! A suggestion : would it be possible to modify the subject line by simply adding the current version each time a new version is published ? It could make it easier when visiting the KVR forums to spot a new release w/o having to go through several messages. One could also visit your website although visiting KVR for different subjects is more common.

Controller veteran here, but newbie to DrivenByMoss. I'm used to Ableton Live + Push 2, and Bitwig's native support for the Launchpad Mini II, and am contemplating getting a newer Launchpad for Bitwig, but am confounded by the session view, particularly with grouped tracks. I'm trying this at the moment with a Push 2. The default seems to be to keep the groups closed, though it seems possible to open them and dive down - though this then means top-level scenes cannot be triggered (which is necessary for tempo change clips). Even with groups open, the sideways navigation seems to often jump by more than 8 tracks. Is there a document/tutorial somewhere which details how scene/session control works? The official documentation doesn't seem to talk about it.

I think that is an issue with Bitwig. I could not yet point my finger at what is actually going on.
Will take note now to look into this.

I played around a bit more. It looks as if you can only display one level of track/group at a time - you can't flatten all of the tracks to the top level as Bitwig's native Launchpad Mini II does. Scene launching seems to depend on what is selected in Bitwig itself, not the device - and that selection moves around apparently randomly (i.e. you can't rely on it always being the top-level scene). And launching a top-level scene causes DrivenByMoss to jump up to top level, regardless of how far down the hierarchy it is at the time. (Perhaps DbM just jumps to the (sub)scene selection.) What I'm really looking for is a flat session view and top-level scene launching, which is what the Launchpad Mini II provides, in other words much like the LM II but in colour (although Bitwig's support for that is not quite bug-free). But I am late to this particular game with a performance project of several dozen tracks and scenes - if I were starting again with DbM I might well arrange things differently.

Anyway - thanks for looking into it. I'm sure it's a bit of a thankless task...!

I just updated to the new version, but pushing Custom on my Launchpad Pro Mk3 still does absolutely nothing.
Could it possibly be a particular setting I have made in the menu for the script that triggers this behaviour? (Just an unqualified guess.)


Also, I have a small wish: As it is, if I push the Session button a second time, the view will flip. This is something that I will never ever want, but occasionally it happens that I accidentally hit the button a second time, and then it takes my brain a second to figure out what happened and I must hit Session one more time to get the correct view. I would love to have an option in settings for making the Session orientation "permanent", so nothing happens if I happen to hit Session a second time.

Custom does now enter the Clip Length Mode. See the "Clip Length Mode" section in the manual.

Bitwig is working perfectly as is Komplete Kontrol etc. Any help appreciated, thanks in advance.

Documents is your Documents folder you have on each and every Windows installation. Depending on where you are from it might be localized e.g. "Dokumente" on a German system.
