So it's not a DAW and it's not multi-DAW. So it's either a FL-only app or perhaps more likely, a stand-alone mixing/masterizing application that offers an integrated access to Melda plugins and has a number of predefined mixing chains for different genres and uses as presets.
If Melda plugins can communicate their status and receive commands then the MMixing stand-alone application could offer an integrated adaptable GUI for mixing chains. A plugin could reside on the DAW master bus to communicate with the stand-alone application.
I'm sure only good practical things can result of all this.
... and it will run in Linux !

Probably won't happen. Also I don't see any advantage in worrying about it now already. Only if you like to worry twice about things. (;

This is what has been said about it in 2015:
I wonder if that future ever arrives...
( https://soundbytesmag.net/interviewwithvojtechmeluzin/ )SB: On the Melda forum at KVR, you have occasionally alluded something you’ve got in the pipeline that (forgive me if I don’t quote you exactly) “will revolutionize mixing”. Now, we realize that you can’t give up any trade secrets that will let the competition get an edge, but can you tell us anything at all about this intriguing development?
VM: Hehe well, I cannot say. Despite the fact that I’m pretty sure it would take years to clone it for competition. This one is so big that I want to keep it for myself. It will take lots of time, so you will have to be looking forward to it for quite some time. All I can say is that in my opinion the current way people are mixing is just medieval, because progress in audio world is unbelievably slow – most likely because of the big companies in the analog and digital worlds who took that piece of the pie in the beginning of the era and now are holding it using the money they made. But technologically they are not bringing anything new, they are even slowing down the process intentionally, just so they can hold the market longer. And if you think about what we do now from that perspective, it’s just ancient and there are so many ways we can make this better. With the “mixing revolution” I’d actually like to take more than one step to the future, we’ll see how that will go. So many words and I revealed nothing – good job, Vojtech!![]()

What I don't get is, how could the musings about this be considered as worrying ? I don't get it at all. Not at all.Tagirijus wrote: Fri Feb 24, 2023 9:51 am Probably won't happen. Also I don't see any advantage in worrying about it now already. Only if you like to worry twice about things. (;

Well, please excuse me. You are right. I might have just read this the wrong way then and I probably was just biased due to the other thread in which people seem to get worried about the acquisition. Sorry for my assumption and no hard feelings here after all!mevla wrote: Fri Feb 24, 2023 5:13 pm What I don't get is, how could the musings about this be considered as worrying ?

No problem at all. I consider that the melodramatic aspect in us is quite exercised since a couple of years now, one way or the otherTagirijus wrote: Fri Feb 24, 2023 5:45 pm Well, please excuse me.
