He does not have an online prescence, he is woried about putting details online like DOB, address, telephone number, even having an email, banking info, confidential info, he has very valid reasons for being woried without going into details
If I buy a Mulab 9 license can i have it under my personal details but his name? He will only use it on his own unless i am with him and we can both use it for the time we are together.
I already have Mulab 6,7,8,9 licenses for myself under my name, so I am not going to use the software for me. I lose track of the licenses i buy from mutools.
If this is ok I will send his name to the mutools email and buy it for him.
I have purchased a cheap computer for him mainly to make music and a physical midi keyboard. As far as i can tell he will not need an email account or any other details online to use it, windows 10 and i skipped using a microsoft account, instead using a local account. av will be trickier.
I will download free samples from the web for him to use.
A friend needs a DAW so I figured Mulab because its cheap and functional but...

I think this should be dealt with via email support.
But I reply mainly to point out that AV isn't required. Microsoft's own AV is good enough and it's free. I've used it for nearly a decade and never had issues.
You can still use VST's, there are thousands of free ones too!
