I don't think there is anything to clone. Basically what you want most of the time on vocals it's a fet followed by an optio (1176-la2a like).
The main feature there it's about the automatic analyzer that chose and setup the compressors for you, useful for unexperienced people, not really for people who know how to achieve it.
I made my own 1176 and opto compressor with MTurboComp, and i'm happy with it
