Issue 319 (April 2023) of Computer Music magazine dropped through my letterbox today.
The magazine no longer includes a CD or DVD with music software, etc, on it, but allows download of various items, including this month (as I mentioned last month) Waveform Free 12. Those arriving new to using DAWs are advised that there is a downloadable suite of more than 80 plug-ins of many types.
There is an eight page introduction to WFree12, followed by a ten-page section on using it to make a track in five modern styles (house, trance, drum&bass, transient, hip-hop).
There is also a 12-page article on MIDI controllers with details of 19 different ones at a variety of prices.
Computer Music magazine (#319 April 2023) includes WF12Free

I suspect not. Just getting it out there to more people who might not be aware of it.SHall1000 wrote: Wed Feb 22, 2023 3:30 pm Is this free version different to the version offered on Tracktion’s website?

Thanks Jabe for the tip. The magazine also includes a free download of Tracktion's RetroMod Lowfreq Classic. Deal.
