I haven't run any updates that I know of. All I did was take a month away from music, pack up and move to a new place. Now, I open my laptop, plug in my launchkey mini (the same controller i've always used), open any Waveform 11 project, and all it will do is control instruments, not transport (can't play, pause, record, etc using the controller). Am I just missing some obvious setting that got tweaked?
Edit: Also, to rule out a hardware problem, I just tried using my midi controller with Ableton Live, and the transport controls work just fine...so something must have changed with my Waveform 11 settings, but I can't figure out what.
Edit 2: I installed Waveform 12 Free, and still have the same problem.
Midi controller suddenly can't control playback/transport anymore.

First step would be to see if for some reason the controller isn't defined in Waveform; and that the Launchkey is still in the list as a controller (your definition is there, and the device is associated to that definition).
Also, did you have to do any customization of the Launchkey in the first place (i.e. select DAW type...) that might have either been reset, or possibly setting lost if it was turned off for a long time, or loaned to someone? I'd hope any settings wouldn't reset in that short a timeframe, but something to test.

idk what happened or why it suddenly changed, but i was able to get the transport controls back by selecting Launchkey in control surfaces (phew!)
i'm not sure if this used to be selected and somehow got unselected during the hiatus, or if i'm finding some kind of hacky workaround, but nothing else feels broken by selecting it yet
