I already have Vegas Pro 18 but might jump on that offer just for Samplitude.

Samplitude is nice if you like its look and feel. There is a demo available for V7, and there have not been too many new features. You also find some YouTube tutorials that give you an impression on what you get.

Also keep in mind that you can sell off some of the keys so it might even become a little cheaper

Yeah I think I will pick it up anyway, nice tool to have in the toolbox, for that price you can't go wrong.

I'll buy the Humble Bundle, even if I don't get along with Samplitude X5 I can still load all the instruments included: 17 of them, (no clue about the 17 instruments included - does anyone know?) and effects in my usual DAW + the other stuff.

anyone have any experience with Vegas Pro ? I'm making a lyric video and have more to do. Currently using Filmora but would like to get out of a subscription plan solution for this

I used Vegas Pro 15/16 extensively a few years back and bought v18 a while back in the last humble bundle deal but haven't got around to using it much.
Overall Vegas Pro is a solid program with lots of features. The interface is identical to ACID Pro and should be very familiar to anyone using any time based DAW, Reaper was based on Vegas after all.

Davinci Resolve is free and first rate. It is complicated but you can grow into it. It will be around in the future and has evolved rapidly in the past 5 yrs. I will migrate from using Adobe Premiere on future projects, if I can convince my collaborators to join.
