I moved from Vegas 18 Pro to DaVinci Resolve Studio because of stability issues. I don’t know about latest versions, 18 was crashing a lot on my then Windows 10 laptop. Vegas has less intimidating interface and exports in H264/5 out of the box, but overall DaVinci Resolve Studio is more feature-rich and even preferred by many for color grading. However the learning curve makes it less useful for music producers.
My 2c - if you’re a music producer just starting with NLEs - get Vegas. If you intend to learn advanced video editing techniques - start with free DaVinci Resolve and then probably upgrade to the paid Studio.

Hello. May I ask how much EZKeys Sound Expansions, and Full Versions Including Software go for on KVR? I see one Full version with library going for $50 on here, but I've seen in the bargain centre of full versions going for as low as $40 back on black friday. Would sound expansions go for like $35?

Can anyone here help me?
if I were to sell NI Guitar Rig 6 Pro, what would be a ”real bargain” price?
$45? Might just sell it here on KVR, all advice greatly appreciated!

Glad I didn't bother finishing the survey. It got to the question "What type of subscription would you prefer" and there wasn't an option for "No subscription" so I bailed at that point. Even PB is trying to ram subscription down everyone's throats.Uncle E wrote: Sun Mar 19, 2023 2:20 am In case you get the Plugin Boutique survey, the free plugin at the end is StereoSavage 2 Elements. Also I am sick and tired of surveys all over, even if I order a 5$ screwdriver I can be sure to be "invited"
And now they want subscription ?
For what ?
For being more expensive than f.eks. AD ?
For having a cluttered mess of a online shop ?
I regret even to have used them, just like Waves

I don't see this question. There's questions on what you like to subscribe to and how much you are willing to pay, followed by a question about the preferred payment option: one-off, sub, rent-to-own, pay-in-3. Hardly trying to ram subscription down everyone's throats. They are just checking if there is demand for a subscription service and what it could look like.seangm wrote: Sun Mar 19, 2023 5:33 pmGlad I didn't bother finishing the survey. Right but there's nowhere to say that you don't want a subscription, it's all questions about "what type of subscription do you want" without an option to say "None". You have to pick one of the subscription types or else you can't go to the next page, so yeah they are ramming subscription down people's throats IMHO.Blaster wrote: Sun Mar 19, 2023 10:01 pmI don't see this question. I think there was a "no" option at the beginning. However, even after answering no, you still have to answer a bunch of questions about what kind of subscription you would want. I didn't really mind all that, I just would have liked knowing upfront what the free plugin was going to be.

Yes, that's the kind of misleading survey that irritates or plainly disconnects me.seangm wrote: Sun Mar 19, 2023 5:33 pm Glad I didn't bother finishing the survey. Crucial ideas being pushed by manipulative or sidetracked framing.
Plus, when are they gonna learn subscription business models don't really belong in the music *making business world?
*Edit: added for precision
