Um... do you mean that you recorded a stereo audio clip but only recorded into the left channel? If that's the case, you can de-select the empty channel and it will end up displaying and sounding like a proper mono audio clip. That should solve your panning problems, if that's the cause of them.
Surely there must be consensus by now...

And for something compleltely different...

You can :
1. Re-record the track properly in MONO, and then you will have left/right panning capability
2. (I couldn't figure how to do this), split stereo into 2 Mono tracks.
3. Experiment per below instructions. Make the track into a dual-mono track.

So, definitely not the intended purpose, but just IN FRONT of your volume/pan control on each track, insert an empty rack. Or you can put reverb or EQ or something into the rack if you really want; but it can be empty. You'll find the track has gone "dead" - because the input to the rack doesn't go anywhere.

Here's the magic of a rack - you can do pretty much anything you want in one. In your case, take your left input channel on the right, and patch it through to BOTH left and right channels output. Now you can treat it like a normal stereo track , and pan as you see fit. Just click on the blue left input and drag to left output, and again drag left input to RIGHT output.

You'll have to do this for each track that has a left-channel signal recorded.

(you can also have some fun with this, like put echo in there on one channel only and reverb on the other...)

Peter, excellent idea with the rack!
Spotify, Apple Music, YouTube, and even Deezer, whatever the hell Deezer is.

Thanks guys... I can't wait to try these ideas. I've never used a RACK but will try it now. I love the virtual "wires"

Lots of uses for racks. Simple, like to swap channels or feed left in to both output...

Or a Monster that takes in MIDI and feeds it into, say a slow synth sound and reverb on one hand, and SEPARATELY into an arpeggiator and something with a quick pluck and then into a digital delay. Then, incoming midi can fire up the two together, yielding a background texture, as well as an arpeggio that follows the MIDI note(s) played. You can then save this as a "Preset" to quickly use any time.
