Hi! I have very simple question. Can I use FreeformPhase directory in MSF?

I know it's in MXXX module.

But can I use it in GENERATOR matrix or FX matorix of MSF?

Post

If it's an MXXX module, you could use it in the FX tab. Using it in the generator section would require rebuilding it in a Modular 2 In.

I understand. Thank you!

I mean, I want to use FreeformPhase without MXXX if I can, but it seems impossible.

Wow, well it looks like you're right. Interesting! Looks like you need to nest it in MXXX. If I'm not mistaken, Melda's plugin framework means resources between plugin instances of most types are largely shared, so running MXXX for just that plugin is not likely to incur much of a CPU/RAM cost, if any at all. In terms of workflow, I know it's a little slower. And I wonder why it's not just available directly?

I noticed there are more MXXX only modules. These are I found:
  • Dynamics > SpectralDynamics
    Dynamics > SpectralDynamicsEx
    EQ & Filters > EqualizerLP
    EQ & Filters > FreeformPhase
    Stereo > AutoStereoFix
    Stereo > SpectralPan
    Spectral > AutoPitch
    Special > AutoAlign
    Special > Compare
    Special > DrumLeveler
    Special > DrumReplacer

Oh it's great! 8)
