Mini Grand is one of my most used plugins, the reasons are it fits perfectly to the genres pop, hip Hop, R&B, Rock, edm, is not heavy on cpu, loads quickly and easy to use.
I know some people who also use it for many years and it's usually no good to use a huge piano emu like some Steinway grand emu or Bosendorfer etc
why would one need such a dominant and prominent sound?
These kind of pianos pianos are rather for classical music, even for Jazz I generally prefer an upright piano.
Mini Grand by AIR is a great plugin imo.

It's a classic, in a good way. I think it was a top of the line sample set from another company before they adapted it for Mini Grand. Very useful and musical. AIR's support is pretty terrible but there's not a whole lot that can go wrong with that plugin if it boots up and can find the sample file.
