The interesting thing is that the rent-to-own is at half the list price. I wonder how it'll work with Avenger 2 due to come during the next 12 months.Yadrichik_Chaya wrote: Wed Mar 22, 2023 6:07 pm Plugin Boutique has started with Rent-To-Own.

@GHOST19 @Digivolt
Just happy they didn't go the subscription route that was just discussed here in the thread!
I'm sure we can have some really great future deals thanks to this, because as you mention this first one to Rent To Own is not at full price.

Glad to see they are going in that direction instead of the sub only model.Yadrichik_Chaya wrote: Wed Mar 22, 2023 6:07 pm Plugin Boutique has started with Rent-To-Own.

Avenger rent to own is compelling given it's the sales price, even seems to be an all time low? Wish there was an option to pick up a couple expansions for a few bucks more a month. Also I am unable to find the actual terms of rent to own. Just some thoughts. Looking forward to trialing Avenger later.

That's a cool deal on some presets but looking at the avenger website the expansions are priced at you better make money off music or not be poor to use this prices. 5 expansions for $300 dollars and there's like 100 of them. The expansions almost certainly contain samples which actually "expand" the package.

Everyone needs their Wasp for $149. I'm not as enthusiastic as most people about Behringer analogs but their Wasp is seriously great.

I’m bummed… I’m going to miss out on this one. I don’t want to be distracted with another synth, but damn I listened to the demos and they sounds lovely.Uncle E wrote: Thu Mar 23, 2023 6:34 pm Everyone needs their Wasp for $149. DV have them for £158 but not till July... Think they're owned by Music Warehouse (Germany)?SHall1000 wrote: Thu Mar 23, 2023 7:03 pm Suspect they will be hard to come by. Can’t find any listed in the UK. Thomann have them listed for import.

Maybe in the US, but just checked Andertons, the supposed premier uk partner, and their prices are still crazy high. £658 Poly D, £545 Odyssey - you can pick up Korg Arp versions for less than that. Although maybe they have done the old retail trick of having them high so they can highlight discount percentage when they do drop price?SHall1000 wrote: Thu Mar 23, 2023 6:20 pm “Behringer is dropping prices on its synth products by up to 60% worldwide“

Well, it's an insect...but it's a beast of an insect.
The Wasp and the Cat together make a great combo.
